How can I get to the airport from the train station?

How can I get from the city centre to the Airport?

The city centre is connected to the airport by the ANM "Alibus" shuttle service. It stops at the central station and at the port / piazza Municipio. Alternatively, you can use the taxi service. For more information click here ​​​​​​​

Where can I park my car?

Naples Airport has 5 parking areas for cars and 2 for motorcycles. You are entitled to discounted rates only if you book online. Purchase your parking space at: Official Parking Naples Airport - NAP. Furthermore, the ZTC (Traffic Controlled Zone) has been restored to make vehicle traffic smoother. A Pick-up area is available nearby the Arrivals. It has 80 stalls and you can stop for free for a maximum of 15 minutes.

Does the airport have free parking?

You can park your car, free of charge, for the first 45 minutes at P1 Parking.

If you are accompanying or picking up a passenger, you can use the “Pick-up area”, located in front of the arrivals. You can park for free up to a maximum of 15 minutes. To benefit of the free parking, you have to take the ticket from one of the parking meters available in the area and show it on the dashboard of the vehicle.

Access to the "Pick-up" area is allowed, for each vehicle, only once in the 24 hours.

It is not permitted to enter the number plate several times in the same day.

By accessing any of parking area , you will exit the ZTC and the time count will be reset. The 15-minute timer will reactivate upon exiting the parking lot.

Does the airport have a motorcycle parking?

There are 2 parking areas for motorcycles. One is located neaby the departures area, the other on the ground floor of Multipiano Parking. For more information click here

Which documents do I need for my trip?

At check-in you have to show your paper or electronic ticket and a valid document (passport or National Identification Card) as well as any visas or special vaccinations required by your country of destination.

Can I carry liquids in my carry-on bag?

All gassy, gelatinous, creamy or liquid substances (deodorant, hair spray, gels, creams, beverages, perfumes, lotions, oils etc…) must be carried in containers of no more than 100 ml each for a maximum of  one liter per passenger. The containers must be placed in a transparent re-sealable bag and presented separately to security personnel.
Siberines, or eutectic plates, are  allowed for the transport of medicines only.  
The restrictions on liquids do not apply to medicines, subject to presentation of medical documentation. Baby food is also permitted.
 

What items are prohibited in carry-on bags?

ou will not be allowed to carry in your hand luggage:

devices for shocking, such as stun guns, tasers and stun batons, animal stunners and animal killers, disabling and incapacitating chemicals, gases and sprays, such as mace, pepper sprays, capsicum sprays, tear gas, acid sprays and animal repellent sprays;

objects with a sharp point or sharp edge — objects with a sharp point or sharp edge capable of being used to cause serious injury, including:

items designed for chopping, such as axes, hatchets and cleavers, ice axes and ice picks, razor blades, box cutters, knives with blades of more than 6 cm, scissors with blades of more than 6 cm as measured from the fulcrum, martial arts equipment with a sharp point or sharp edge, swords and sabres; workmen's tools — tools capable of being used either to cause serious injury or to threaten the safety of aircraft, including:
crowbars, drills and drill bits, including cordless portable power drills, tools with a blade or a shaft of more than 6 cm capable of use as a weapon, such as screwdrivers and chisels, saws, including cordless portable power saws, blowtorches, bolt guns and nail guns;

blunt instruments objects capable of being used to cause serious injury when used to hit, including:

baseball and softball bats, clubs and batons, such as billy clubs, blackjacks and night sticks, martial arts equipment; explosives and incendiary substances and devices, explosives and incendiary substances and devices capable, or appearing capable, of being used to cause serious injury or to pose a threat to the safety of aircraft, including:

ammunition,
 blasting caps, detonators and fuses, replica or imitation explosive devices, mines, grenades and other explosive military stores, fireworks and other pyrotechnics, smoke-generating canisters and smoke-generating cartridges, dynamite, gunpowder and plastic explosives.

How can I request special assistance?

Special assistance must be requested from your airline or travel agent during the reservation, or at least 48 hours prior to departure. It is important that you provide the airline with detailed information regarding all your special needs. Assistance is free and the airline is responsible for informing all involved airports. Who should I contact if my baggage is lost?

In case of lost or damaged baggage, it is necessary to fill in the P.I.R. (Property Irregularity Report) at the Baggage Assistance Office (Lost & Found) before leaving the baggage delivery hall.  For the delivery of lost baggage, you will be contacted directly when your baggage arrives at the airport.

Naples Airport offers free Wi-Fi connection,  up to 4 hours, accessible in all the terminal areas.

My flight departs in the evening and I would like to visit the city without luggage. Where can I leave it?

Is there a transit area at Naples Airport?

No, onward passengers on another flight must exit the arrivals hall and go through security checks again to go to the boarding gate.
